Unlike the original series, the remastered series this time was handled by Beenox, the developer who also helped Infinity Ward work on it Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019. They are also developers who work on series Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled.

The game will support 4K resolution and HDR on the console, complete with unlimited framerates and ultrawide monitor support for PCs. The animation has also been changed in such a way as to suit the times. He was also present with the Warzone bundle that had leaked before with various bonuses, including the classic Ghost skin.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered currently only can be played on PlayStation 4 only. This was possible thanks to Activision's exclusive contract with Sony Interactive Entertainment. Making all things related to the series can be enjoyed in the console from Japan. While for PCs and Xbox One will follow later on 30 April 2020.
